First Meeting with Mr. Henry. 28/09/09

Today we met with our client Mr Henry for the first time, It went quite well and we got lots of information that we otherwise unclear. It could have gone better because we did not get the chance to introduce our selfs because he sat down and immediately started talking. There for we could not offer him a drink or biscuits even though they were on the table already.

However having said all that the overall meeting went well, now we are in the process of thinking of and picking ideas. Firstly I came up with the idea of using the colour scheme on parts of thier website where it is a lot of different colour lines together and then zooming into each section of the colour and it shows a different part of linneys and how that connects to Linney Connect. We then elaborated on this idea including lines of people. Another good idea was brought up about a rocking table with coffee going everywhere then someone comes in and folds up a Linney Connect card and fixes the rocking. This could b made into a number of adverts and everyone a different colour, therefore each one can be related back to Linney Connect.

Hello! Welcome to my blog, I will be blogging for my management diary, writing what I do every week so that I can look back on what I have done and achieved.

Today we had a meeting, apprentice style, discussing what we should do in planning for the first meeting with the representative from Linney Connect. We gave each other roles and things for the rest of the assignment and for the meeting. I took the minutes and engaged in a strong discussion on what we should do, we decided that Jack Wheatman would create the logo and business cards for the monday meeting. And by doing that, setting up an email address for the Olympus Advertising Company. Tammie Devonshire would also design the name cards. Stefan volunteered to be the main contact for the representative and his number went on to the business card. 

We decided that I would introduce everyone at the first meeting, while offereng refreshments such as coffee and buiscuits. We then went on to how we would structure the meeting. And other things such as having a big round table for ease, and no intimidation.

So far the days meeting and research has gone very well.
