06-10-09 Brainstorm

Yesturday we had a brainstorm of ideas. My role in the team was to come up with ideas and then dwell into them deeper as well as looking into other peoples ideas to see if they work. I had to critcally evaluate each idea, taking it apart and seeing visually if it would work and also seeing if the idea met the design brief. To try and get more ideas flowing in the morning we decided to split into to groups to see if we could both come up with ideas, by splitting up different ideas would bounce each other and then hopefully more ideas would be on the table when the both groups came back.

My group thought of how Connect links all the businesses of Linney together so we went a scale bigger and thought of the world and how LinneyConnect connects the world to make the service and opportunities better. So we had an idea of a picture of world and a dot moves around the world in different locations with phrases of how this connects to LinneyConnect. One strong point that Mr. Henry mentioned is that they can give the customers many different situations of getting what they want. For example if someone wants to print something they could get it done in the UK and lots of contact with the printing place and have it done very quickly, or they can have it done in China for very cheap however it would take along time to make and thier eould be little contact. So we wanted to involve this in our idea, so we thought it would be good to add subtitles or a voice over, at these points. After all the dots were joint it made a big "L" then the camera zooms out and there is LinneyConnect being printed out.
